Orientation Discrimination task, which was learned before surgery by only two subjects, S1 and S2. The V1 lesion subject had large and highly significant deficits in motion, image, and orientation discrimination tasks, whether compared to its own pre-lesion performance, compared to sham or extrastriate lesion performance, or compared to post-lesion performance of the same subject on the approach task.
