Bacteria colonized lungs and kidneys from non-vaccinated mice, but not the same organs from vaccinated mice. Sections from vaccinated and non-vaccinated mice were incubated (2 h) with Dapi (10 µl at 0.5 µg/ml), fluorescein isothiocyanate (10 µl at 0.5 µg/ml) or neither.
