Genome-Wide Data-Mining of Candidate Human Splice Translational Efficiency Polymorphisms (STEPs) and an Online Database

Candidate STEPs were scanned for splice site prediction differences via 3 online tools as well as filtered for candidates which are retained (causing full intron retention of exon extension) and checked via a BLAST search of EST databases. These results are then combined to derive a final intron retaining STEP list.
