A very interesting study - it goes right into my study on the term pattern-recognition as a basis for creativity. Pattern-recognition as a term, is by the way developed by mr Nils Faarlund, head of the Norwegian School of Mountaineering (Norges Hoegfjellskole).

Your study seems anyhow to contradict what others have called "a spillover effect" you get in dense networks.

"In the dense networks of the first cities, good ideas have a natural propensity to get into circulation" quote Steven Johnson, "Where Good Ideas Come From", Penguin, 2010, page 54.

Any comments would be welcome?
