MS characterized by inflammation or demyelination?

In no instance of MS, any MS-specific inflammatory or demyelinative finding has ever been traced.
What has been seen exclusively in MS is just an invasion of cerebral hemispheres and brainstem by Dawson's fingers.

No obstruction of a cerebral venous drainage ever having made a Dawson's finger, why should IJV-ligatures do so?
