Provocative insight into the mechanisms of adipose accumulation

The possibility of a combined action of intracellular and extracellular activities of cath K for contributing to increases ion adipose accumulation is provocative. I hope the authors might come up with some elegant mechanisms to distinguish these potentialities (perhaps selective inhibitors of cathepsin which can and cannot cross the cell membrane... or constructs mutating the internal ATG codons?).
