A European Commission Specific targeted research project under the EU sixth framework programme for research and technological development (FP6) on ' Health Impacts of long term exposure to disinfection by products in drinking water' This 42 month project consists of 16 partner institutions all from within Europe. Main research areas being:
Exposure assessment - DBPs occurence and formation; toxicity of DBPs Epidemiology of DBPs - and still birth; and prematurity and birth weight; and colon cancer Risk and Risk benefit assessment of microbial contamination and DBPs Policy and implications The project coordinating partner is:
