Gulf of Aquaba crossing?

Posted by NickD on 22 Sep 2010 at 14:49 GMT

In his recent book "The Miracles of Exodus" Colin Humphreys argues that wind set-down was responsible for the crossing at the Gulf of Aquaba, based on a north-easterly wind.

Apologies for the misspelling. Should be Aqaba

I have read Colin Humphreys' book (2006). He proposed the same underwater reef mechanism for water on both sides of the crossing. I have not had a chance to model the Aqaba site in detail.
