No mention of water consumption

I'm surprised there is no mention of the water consumption for the participants that ate bananas during their test. No way performance could be the same from eating only bananas without water. Sure it seems obvious that they drank water, but was it equvialent to the 'gatorade' performance test?

Yes, the subjects drank water with the bananas (see methods section). Water intake during the banana trial equaled what was consumed during the sports drink trial, with the water content of the banana used in the calculations.
