Coprolith identification

Posted by FrenchAmateur on 04 Mar 2013 at 11:44 GMT

Hello
I was just wondering how the coprolith has been identified as an elasmobranch cooprolith. Which details show this?

Hello
The coprolite is spiral, with all the whorls in one end. This structure is characteristic of the intestine of elasmobranch.
