It has been brought to our attention that there is some disagreement in the field regarding the origin of the cell line used in this study. Is it from breast cancer or melanoma? After some consultation with the original referees it has been decided that the literature does not support a definitive conclusion either way. It does seem that there has been substantial genotypic drift in this cell line and that it is not particularly stable. However, this does not detract from the value of this study which primarily contributes to our understanding of tumor metastasis in general.
