Competing Interests
During the period in which the research was undertaken, JAR and KSD were affiliated with the DuPont Agricultural Biotechnology division at the commercial company DuPont Pioneer, which also funded parts of the project. No patents on any of the work described in the paper have been lodged and there are no known products being developed as a result of the work presented.
