Competing Interests
Regarding the author employed by ICF International, that author, and in fact that company, have no interest, financial or otherwise, relating to the assay described in this manuscript. ICF International is contracted by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) to implement the Demographic and Health Surveys, and they are thus potential users of assays like the one described here.
