Interesting. Stool tests conducted in most laboratories do not require any particular instruction to the collector (usually the stool producer himself in out-patient settings) to "harvest" particular portions of the stool. And homogenisation is usually done only for the sample collected (and not for the entire stool output). So apparently, this does not have any effect on hookwork since Schistosoma is not a big problem in these parts.
