I am surprised to see a write-up from Cochrane in an open-access journal. Much of it seems to be a self-congratulatory pat on the back: what John Wiley and Sons are doing to "promote selfless dissemination" of information across tsunami hit nations.

They base their evidence on public-funded trials; agreed it costs money, but for doctors and health care providers in resource poor nations like India, they should make this available for free. A disclaimer here. I tried contacting Dr Prathap for making the access free for doctors from India; the decision seems to have been stuck in their bereaucratic committes. Then I got no more replies despite repeated emails.

Just a small reminder to the editors of this wonderful journal that individual voices get lost in the wilderness.
