Frankly, I am not all that concerned about the fact that methods of capital punishment might not be "humane". People sentenced to death are not sentenced because they stole a pack of gum form the local convenience store. I doubt that these perpetrators of heinous crimes gave much thought to the fact that they might not have acted "humanely" with regard to their victims. I would not lose a nanosecond of sleep over this issue.
