A coupple of errors in the way this article describes me: (1) I have 18 years' experience in the pharma and medical communications sectors, not over 20 as stated; (2) I only worked full-time in the sector for 18 months. The rest of the time I was a part-time freelancer, spending much time on other activities including academic work; (3) Whereas I have done and still do some medical writing, must of my experience within the sector has been in other activities such as product profiling, competitor analysis and publications planning; (4) My views are not based on working experience alone but also research - I have previously published in this feld from the standpoint of science studies.
