Thank you for posting this entire article for public access (I found the link from a Wikipedia article on smoking cessation). It is encouraging to me as someone looking for "practical ways" and "positive comments" from ex-smokers. Having read many journal articles while earning my degrees, and serving a career in health and human services, I was also VERY impressed with how well the article addresses issues that are individual, global, cultural, economic, etc. and called for more appropriate research ... maybe even "outdated research" (that's poor humor about the pharmaceutical industry's use of the word "outdated" to describe the human experience before BigPharm existed). Thank you again and I hope something comes from this.
