We did find that, in general, S. aureus carriers had higher anti-ClfB levels than non-carriers. This is concordant with the results of Dryla et al. [31]

The author has made us aware that the paper from Dryla et al.
[ref 31] has been cited incompletely in the discussion. Though a tendency of higher IgG levels in carriers was reported in Dryla's paper, this was not the case for ClfB antigen.
