Contrary to Dr. Sullivan's statement, I did not raise issues with the adoption study literature. Rather, my concern is that Dr. Sullivan's table is not an accurate reflection of that literature. I pointed out what I think is a very specific error in his table. I could certainly be wrong and if so I would appreciate being corrected. He also says that the second part of my letter, which mentioned the morality of our society's treatment of schizophrenia, is beyond the scope of his paper. I completely agree with him, which was I was confused when he mentioned it in the last two sentences of his paper.
