WT (YKB33954) and eaf1Δ (YKB3929) cells grown at 30°C in YPD medium and cell lysates from exponential-phase cells were analyzed for acetyl-CoA carboxylase activity and specific activity was calculated as described in Materials and Methods. Three biological replicates and three technical replicates per biological replicate were performed. Error bars represent Mean ± SD and stars indicate statistical significance based on ANOVA and Turkey’s post hoc test (p value < 0.05).
