Peptide sequences please

Posted by ruski09 on 14 Nov 2012 at 17:47 GMT

Good study and quite challenging from the methodology point of view. Would have liked to see the sequences of the peptides (i.e. the lengths of the peptides) used in the peptide competition experiments though.

Thank you for your interest in our paper and work.

3 series of peptides were used in the competition assay shown in Fig 3B.

For the H4 peptides, they correspond to amino acids 1 - 20 of the human H4 sequence, with or without acetylation at K12, or K5/K8/K12/K16 (tetra).

For the H2A.Z peptides, they correspond to amino acids 1 - 16 of the human H2A.Z sequence, with or without acetylation at the sites indicated in the figure.

Finally, for the H2A peptides, they correspond to amino acids 1 - 14 of the human H2A sequence, with or without acetylation at the indicated sites.

I hope this answers your question.

Best regards,

Peter
