Late onset Alzheimer and genes

To link wide genomic association of sequences to any Late-Onset Disease can be a quite risky endeavour. However, this work seems to have done it carefully and with the support of metabolic changes that allows for sound interpretation of the findings. Other associations, een when pseudo-genes are not involved, do not present a clear separation of sequence changes that may represent noise from those that indicate sound medical signals.
