Interesting results---any association with sex differentiation?

These are very interesting results for a researcher focusing on sex determination and sex differentiation. The sox9 genes are known to be important in testis differentiation in a wide range of animal taxa, including human being and other vertebrates, reptiles, fish... The molecular networks are just much more complex than we ever thought.
