Competing Interests
AMT has received research grants from the Alpha-1 Foundation, and is closely linked to the UK AATD registry which receives funding from Grifols, a manufacturer of AAT augmentation. The author has never received research monies directly from a pharmaceutical entity with an interest in AATD.
