The mean median path length of agents with adaptable interactions is lower than that of both interacting and independent agents. The mean path length of independent agents is significantly larger. The variance of the path lengths of interacting agents is larger than that of the other mechanisms due to positive feedback. Simulation parameters are as in Figure 5, 500 rounds.
