Elizabeth Wager is a freelance medical writer and publications consultant who often works for pharmaceutical companies. Before becoming self-employed she worked for Janssen-Cilag, and then GlaxoSmithKline. She is a co-author of the Good Publication Practice guidelines for pharmaceutical companies and the EMWA guidelines on the role of professional medical writers, and occasionally receives payment for running workshops on publication ethics based on these guidelines.
