Soon after their spinal cord injuries, NCS1-transduced rats were quite clumsy at navigating the grid with their affected limbs. But within 21 days, they were as surefooted as uninjured rats. I assume that an experimental group, without NCS1 over expression, continue with the display of clumsy navigation on the grid after 21 days. Nice article. I hope will lead to quick medical use of this finding.

Yes, you are right that the control group was still clumsy at 21 days. And I second your hope for a quick medical application!
