Thank you for your interesting article.
Your suggestion that "existing insecticides could be evolution-proofed by changing concentrations delivered in the field" deserves further exploration. A lower concentration may indeed delay the spread of a single gene mutation that conveys full resistance to the conventional concentration. However, a lower concentration enhances the chances of selection for alleles that convey partial resistance.
