Nadal handedness

Posted by fmoya on 07 Aug 2014 at 16:26 GMT

At the end of his excellent article Michael Croballis cites Rafael Nadal as an example of a succesful left-hander As it turns out Rafael Nadal is right-hander. It is in fact an interesting case of a different functional asymmetry for a specific function, obviously learned through heavy training. According to his trainer they both decided to play with the left hand very early in his carreer, but currently it is the only activity he performes with his left hand. The video (link below ) shows.
